About

My IT career started at Bradshaw Home in 2015 as a Help desk technician. My responsibilities included supporting hundreds of end users at multiple facilities, being a SME for the WMS system and managing all IT infrastructure related to those users.  Triage and resolve help desk tickets within our SLA. On/Offboarding, Provision and Deprovisioning users.  I found myself running into many networking issues and got interested. I completed my CCNA which assisted in resolving those problems and staying educated about the latest networking technologies & industry best practices.

I moved on to fill an IT Support Technician III role at Victor Valley Transit Authority in 2020, which soon turned into the System Administrator. This position is a well-rounded role with aspects of IT including Networking, System Administration, and IT Security. I have begun applying my knowledge of networking, malware, keeping proprietary information secure, and implementing prevention techniques and trainings to educate others on security risk. I have implemented an email security gateway (MailGaurd360), Siem /Soar solution (Darktrace), and lead Security Awareness Training (Knowbe4). I have continued to pursue my education and recently completed my CompTIA Security +, A+, Project + AWS CCP, Splunk CCU and LPI Linux Essentials with great anticipation of breaking into the Cyber Security field. With this handful of certs under my belt I decided it was time to finish what I started academically and completed my BS in Information Technology at WGU early 2022.

I recently started working for a DOD contractor at Edwards Air Force Base as System Administrator late 2022, and while waiting to be fully on-boarded I knocked out my Azure Administrator certification. My most recent accomplishment after being cleared to work was passing the CISSP.
